別売りの動力シャーシ及びトレーラーシャーシと組合わせて、通常のZゲージ車両と同様に走行させることが可能です。
モデルとなったClass 491は小回りの利くバスに対抗する為の観光客向け単行車両elT 1998として、1935年に登場しました。
展望の為車体の上半分がガラス張りとなった姿から“ガラス電車”の愛称で親しまれています。
最小走行半径はR45と大変コンパクトです。

Z Shorty is a model railroad that is only half the length!

Combining the separately sold power chassis and trailer chassis with the car makes running like a regular Z-gauge car(train) possible!!

【Product features and usage, etc.】
The model for this product, Class 491 004, was introduced in 1935 as the elT 1998, a single train for tourists to compete with more agile buses.
It was nicknamed the “glass train” because the upper half of the car body was made of glass for observation purposes.
During its 60 years of active service, the train served various European countries connected by rail lines to Germany, including Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and France.
The model is painted in Olympic blue, which could be seen from 1972 to around 1985.
Both pantographs can be raised and lowered.
The minimum mileage is R45, which is very compact.
