【商品の特徴や使い方等】

EF63形電気機関車は、最大勾配66.7‰の急勾配で知られた信越本線横川～軽井沢間における補機として誕生しました。
1997年に北陸新幹線の東京～長野間が部分開業したことで役目を終えましたが、現在も鉄道ファンに高い人気を誇ります。
本製品のモデルとなったのは碓氷峠鉄道文化むらで動態保存されている、三次形の24・25号機となります。
1・2次形と異なるブロック式ナンバープレートやテールライトの形状、ジャンパ線受け等を再現しています。

●モデルは3次形の24・25号機で、1・2次形と異なるブロック式ナンバープレートや、テールライトの形状等を再現。
●連結器は同梱のダミーカプラーと交換可能。ダミーカプラーは自動連結器と双頭型両用連結器の2種が付属。
●2エンド側のジャンパ栓受けを彩色。
●付属のインレタを使用することで車番を変更可能。
●115系に取り付ける連結用アーノルドカプラーを同梱。　※別売りの「A023 先頭車連結用カプラー」と併せて使用してください。
●別売りの「489系」や「115系」等と組み合わせてお楽しみください。
●EF63形単体での最小走行半径はR95。重連または489系や115系との連結時はR195となります。
●ヘッドライト・テールライト点灯。車体内部のスイッチでON/OFF可能。

【Product features and usage, etc.】
The EF63 type electric locomotive was born as an auxiliary machine between Yokokawa and Karuizawa on the Shinetsu Main Line, known for its steep gradient of 66.7‰. In 1997, the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Tokyo and Nagano partially opened, and its role ended, but it is still very popular with railway fans.

●The model is a tertiary type of No. 24 and No. 25 and reproduces the block type number plate, tail light shape, etc., different from those of the 1st and 2nd types.
● Assembled Arnold coupler in the shipping state.
It can be replaced with the included dummy coupler.
Dummy couplers are divided into automatic couplers and double-headed couplers.
●The jumper plug receiver on the two end sides is tiny but painted just like the actual car.
●Enjoy combining with the separately sold [489 series] and [115 series].
●The car number can be changed by using the included Dry transfer Sheet.
●Other user-installable parts include a lightning arrestor, whistle, various antennas, and an Arnold coupler for connection with the 115 series.
●The minimum running radius for a single unit is R95 (R195 when connected to the 489 series and 115 series).
●Headlights and taillights are lit.
During heavy-duty or cooperative operation, the light on the connecting surface can be turned off by switching the switch.
