【商品の特徴や使い方等】
万能機EF65形電気機関車の中から、かつて新鶴見機関区に所属していた1059号機を再現いたしました。
1977(昭和52)年、新鶴見機関区に新製配置された本車両は、
国鉄民営化後の1987(昭和62)年に前面を警戒色の黄色とし、側面に大きなJRロゴを
入れた試験塗装に塗り替えられました。
それから22年間、2009(平成21)年に廃車されるまでこの塗色で活躍しました。
最小走行半径はR95と大変コンパクトです。

【Features】

【Product features and usage, etc.】
Among the versatile EF65 class electric locomotives, we have recreated No. 1059, a test-painted locomotive that once belonged to the Shin-Tsurumi Engine Depot.
In 1977, this locomotive was newly built and placed in the Shin-Tsurumi Engine Depot.
After the privatization of the Japanese National Railways in 1987 (Showa 62), the front was yellow warning color and was repainted in a test paint with a large JR logo on the side.
In 1987, after the privatization of Japan National Railways (JNR), the front of the train was repainted yellow, a warning color, with a large JR logo on the side.
It remained in this paint scheme for 22 years until scrapped in 2009.
The minimum running radius is R95, which is very compact.
