EF210形電気機関車は、国鉄時代に製造されたEF65形やEF66形といった電気機関車の後継機として、また東海道・山陽線系統の貨物輸送力増強を目的として開発されました。
岡山機関区に所属する省電力大出力機であることから、「桃太郎」の愛称が付けられ親しまれています。
製品は100番代のうち、新鶴見機関区に所属するシングルアームパンタグラフの133号機をモデルとしています。
最小走行半径はR95と大変コンパクトです。

【Product features and usage, etc.】
The EF210 electric locomotive was developed as a successor to the EF65 and EF66 electric locomotives manufactured during the JNR era and to increase the freight transportation capacity of the Tokaido / Sanyo line system.
Since it is a power-saving high-output machine belonging to the Okayama engine district, it is nicknamed "Momotaro" and is widespread.
The product is modeled on the 133rd single-arm pantograph belonging to the Shin-Tsurumi engine district, out of the 100th generation.
The minimum mileage is R95, which is very compact.
