極小サイズの鉄道模型、Zショーティーの車体セットです。
別売りの動力シャーシ及びトレーラーシャーシと組合わせて、通常のZゲージ車両と同様に走行させることが可能です。
車両は人気の国鉄急行形気動車、キハ58系です。最小走行半径はR45と大変コンパクトです。
かつて四国地方で運用されていた一部のキハ58には、踏切事故対策としてミュージックホーンを取り付けた証に通称“赤ひげ”と呼ばれるラインが前面に入れられました

The Kiha 58 is an express-type diesel locomotive manufactured by the JNR.
The minimum mileage is R45, which is very compact.
The Kiha 58 series of express trains, which were once in service in the Shikoku region, featured a distinctive red stripe on the front—commonly known as the “Red Beard”—as a mark indicating that they were equipped with a warning device that emitted a loud alarm to prevent level crossing accidents.
