【踏切警報器とは】
実物は、踏切で交差する道路を通行する自動車や歩行者等に対して、列車が接近していることを光と音で警告するものです。
本製品のように遮断機がなく警報機のみの踏切は日本では第三種踏切と呼ばれます。
事故防止の観点から撤去や遮断機付きの第一種踏切への改修が進み、見られる機会は少なくなっていますが、ロクハン製品のモデルとなった車両の走る路線ではしなの鉄道や真岡鉄道真岡線、JR東北本線、中央本線、上越線、只見線などで現役または近年まで見ることが可能でした。
製品はコントローラーからレールへの給電が開始されると同時に左右の警報灯が交互に点滅を続け、レイアウトに光のアクセントを気軽に加えることができるアイテムとなります。
【商品の特徴や使い方等】
・給電部のあるロクハン直線レール(直線レール55mm、110mm、220mm、440mm)に挿し込むことで点滅する、フィーダー型のストラクチャーです。
・警報器部分は点滅ベースのライトの位置に挿し込むだけです。
・コントローラーからレールへの給電により、列車の在線位置に関係なく左右の警報灯が交互に点滅し続けます。
※電気量が減ると消灯します。
※給電部のないレールにはご使用いただけません。
※本製品に列車の接近を検知する機能はございません。
※本製品は警報音は鳴りません。
※本製品はコントローラー「RC02」「RC03」「C005」にて使用できます。
・別売り「S045-1 踏切セット（日本型）」の遮断機などのパーツを組み合わせてより一般的な「第一種踏切」を表現できます(一部加工が必要となります)。
本製品はパッケージが極小の為、取扱説明書は同梱されていません。

【About Railroad Crossing】
The actual device alerts pedestrians crossing the railroad crossing and vehicle drivers to the approaching train with alternating flashing warning lights and warning sounds, serving as a cautionary device.
Level crossings without barriers, like this product, are called third-class crossings(Dai San-shu Fumikiri, 第三種踏切) in Japan.
Although their numbers have been reduced in recent years as part of accident prevention measures, on the lines where the vehicles that served as models for Rokuhan products ran, they could be seen in active service or until recently on the Shinano Railway, Moka Railway, JR East Tohoku Main Line, Chuo Main Line, Joetsu Line, and Tadami Line.
The product continuously flashes as soon as power is supplied from the controller to the rails, making it an item that easily adds a light accent to your layout.
【Product features and usage, etc.】
●Connect to the power feed slot of the ROKUHAN Straight Track.
●Simply insert the railroad crossing alarm unit into the position of the flashing base light.
●Powered from the controller to the track, it will continue to flash regardless of the train's position.
＊It does not flash when the amount of current flowing through the track is low.
＊This product cannot be installed on tracks without a power feed slot.
＊This product does not have a function to detect an approaching train.
＊This product does not emit an alarm sound.
＊This product is compatible with the “RC02,” “RC03,” and “C005” controllers.
●You can create a model railroad crossing by combining certain parts, such as the crossing gates from the separately sold “S045-1 Railroad Crossing Set (JPN Type).”
Due to the extremely compact size of this product’s packaging, no instruction manual is included.
